Rolls-Royce Motor Cars had recently made a debut in the Indian market after a gap of of five decades by opening a dealer outlet in Mumbai. Roll-Royce previously enjoyed a huge "Maharaja" (Indian royalty) market for its luxurious vehicles. Twenty per cent of Rolls-Royce's total production ended up in India, amounting to over 4,000 vehicles. Less than 200 of these mechanical beauties still exist in India. Today RR's biggest markets are in USA, United Kingdom and China.
